Ana sayfa / Smartphones

HMD Global, the licensee of Nokia branded phones, seems to be reviving the Nokia 3310 model, one of the iconic mobile phones of all time. The company shared an image on its social media accounts with a pixel drawing resembling the 3310.

The shared image directs users to the “Birthday” page on the HMD site, fueling speculation that a refreshed Nokia 3310 could be coming. While details are scarce, the pixelated image is reminiscent of the 3310 released in 2000.

The Nokia 3310 was a big hit, with a very strong chassis and a battery life that lasted for weeks on a single charge. Its robustness, simple interface and Snake game made it a very popular phone worldwide. HMD seems to want to capitalize on the 3310’s nostalgia by hinting at a new version.

Ferrari will add engine sound to its electric car. The company CEO said the electric vehicle will not be silent like Tesla.

HMD did not share details for an updated 3310. But 4G connectivity and improved screen resolution seem to be among the possibilities. However, the company will keep the iconic design that made the 3310 a legend.

On the other hand, HMD Global has quietly shared the first series it will launch under its own brand. This marks an important step for HMD Global to stop producing Nokia-branded devices.
